Celebrate Love Everyday

As February comes to a close, so does the My Pumpkin Challenge : All Above Love. That challenge was a good reminder to celebrate love everyday! For my sample, I deconstructed the card from the My Paper Pumpkin Kit. I made a banner with one half of the card and used the other half as a mat on a piece of extra Whisper White card stock I had. I used the beautiful embellishments that came in the kit to decorate the card. As a final touch, I used a left over mini clothespin from a previous kit and glued a mini hexagon embellishment on top! I had lots of fun with this kit, but now it is time to move on to the next kit. I hope you will check back on March 1st for the next My Pumpkin Challenge . Thanks for stopping by. Please head over to the My Pumpkin Challenge for more inspiration.

Love the My Pumpkin Challenge

I am addicted to subscription boxes. I love getting surprises in the mail each month. I will do a separate post about the beauty boxes I get, the subscription box My Man gets and the new one my daughter should receive this week! I look forward to the My Paper Pumpkin kit because it is different than the beauty boxes. You get to be creative and then share your handmade creation with others. The My Paper Pumpkin kit includes the items you need to get started, the only items you might need on occasion are adhesive and scissors! Be sure to check out how to get your own subscription here ! The kit also comes with instructions on how to assemble your kit. If you want some ideas to think outside the box be sure to check out the My Pumpkin Challenge ! Each week the Design Team shares their creations on fun new ways to change up the kits! Here is my sample for this week: I used many of the items from the January kit and some leftover bakers twine from a past kit. Be sure to share your c

So Much Love

I am a lucky lady who is surrounded by love. I have an amazing man in my life, two beautiful kids, a loving family and such a great circle of friends. Yes, I am blessed. As we celebrate Valentine's Day today, I need to remember all the love that surrounds me each day. Even when I am being crazy mom, I know my kids love me and they know that I love them.  I am beyond grateful! To spread some of the love on my blog today I wanted to share what we made at my Valentine's Class. This first card is my creation. I wanted the chalkboard look! I got the idea for the Monster Hugs from Julie Davison . She was so kind to share this creation and how to assemble the box.  Lastly, this idea was from Holly at Rubber Redneck . The only thing I added to this was a mini note card in the front pocket! Did you make some Valentine's for the special people in your life this year? How about for your kids to swap in their classrooms? Have a fabulous day. Thanks for stoppin

Spread The Love

So, I have been organizing my stampin' room because it is a disaster. As I put things back in their place I have been coming across all of My Paper Pumpkin creations. I realize I need to stop hoarding them and start spreading the love! Since I take pictures of them I will always remember what I have made, right? I think I will stop by the post office and buy some stamps and start sending these lovely cards via snail mail. I know I love getting beautiful cards in the mail, don't you? When is the last time you sent out a handmade card? Here is my sample for this week I used all My Paper Pumpkin items to make this card. The die cuts that came inside the January kit are beautiful. I used the doily that came in the kit to create the flower. I also used the "splatter" stamp from the welcome kit in the background. Please head over to the My Pumpkin Challenge for inspiration and to share your creations! Thanks for stopping by.

We Are All About Love

When I think of the month of February I think always think of love. I am sure it has to do with marketing though, the retailers have me trained to think of Valentine's Day right after Christmas! Since I am a hopeless romantic, I am ok with that! I am excited that we are "All About Love" over at the My Pumpkin Challenge. Here is my first sample. The January My Paper Pumpkin kit is awesome and I cannot wait to play some more! Have you been creating. Please head over to the My Pumpkin Challenge. On Wednesday we will share brand new ideas with you.
